The essential actors most likely back, might as well as few new actors. AnnaSophia Robb will be back as Carrie Bradshaw alongside Austin Butler as Sebastian Kydd. What is The Carrie Diaries about?
"The Carrie Diaries" is a prequel to the iconic TV series "Sex and the City" and follows the adventures of a young Carrie Bradshaw as she navigates her senior year of high school in 1984 and her first steps into the world of fashion journalism in New York City.
Carrie lives in Castlebury, Connecticut, with her father, Tom, and her rebellious younger sister, Dorrit, after losing her mother to cancer. She dreams of leaving her small town behind and pursuing a career in fashion, which is her true passion. After scoring an internship at a prestigious fashion magazine in Manhattan, Carrie finds herself caught up in the fast-paced world of high fashion and meets a group of new friends who help her navigate the ups and downs of young adulthood.
Carrie's love life is also a major focus of the show, as she finds herself torn between her longtime crush, Sebastian, and the charming and mysterious writer, Adam. Along the way, Carrie experiences heartbreak, betrayal, and a few hilarious mishaps, all while staying true to herself and her dreams.
